Description

  • Serve as the primary liaison between assigned country offices, home office departments, and consortium stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely communication across program management, country office, and home office teams.
  • Monitor compliance with World Relief and US government policies, procedures, CHS standards, and core beliefs.
  • Support periodic review of portfolio strategies and plans to identify collaboration and capacity-building opportunities.
  • Lead grant and program compliance with US government, consortium, and knowledge management standards.
  • Set up project administration tasks in internal systems, including ERP, payroll, and the Metrics Portal.
  • Maintain internal grant tracking systems such as the Proposal Pipeline, Active Award Tracker, and Reporting Tracker.
  • Support budget development, monthly budget review, cash flow oversight, and financial quality control.
  • Coordinate collection, review, and approval of content for publications, website updates, and external engagement materials.
  • Lead quarterly programmatic and financial reporting, including drafting, review, feedback incorporation, and submission.
  • Coordinate, review, and develop concept papers and proposals for sudden-onset activations and other opportunities.
  • Manage partner compliance, vetting, due diligence, agreement management, and trip logistics.

Requirements

  • Mature personal Christian faith and commitment to World Relief’s mission, vision, and values.
  • Ability to affirm or acknowledge World Relief’s Core Beliefs, Statement of Faith, Christian Identity, and the NAE For the Health of The Nation document.
  • Humanitarian program implementation experience in fragile, conflict-affected, disaster-affected, or complex emergency contexts.
  • Experience supporting rapid humanitarian responses, including needs assessment, response strategy, partner selection, implementation monitoring, and learning.
  • Ability to lead through influence across country teams, regional leadership, home office functions, and external partners.
  • Strong written communication skills for concept notes, donor narratives, decision memos, technical guidance, and internal briefings.
  • Comfort representing the organization at external events, technical working groups, and international forums.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; Master’s degree or other advanced degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in international development, non-profit, or mission work.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively to fragile contexts with hardship or security risks.
  • French language skills.
  • Experience with proposal writing, project reports, basic financial procedures, and spreadsheet functions.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize competing demands, and work effectively across multiple projects.
  • Proven team-player with strong interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and ability to drive results.
  • Preferred experience managing remote, multi-location, or consortium-led programs in complex humanitarian contexts.
