Description

  • Serve as the primary liaison among country offices, the consortium Program Management Unit, home office teams, donors, and partners.
  • Coordinate grant operations, compliance, reporting, budget management, and consortium management across the assigned portfolio.
  • Lead project setup and maintain grant administration and tracking systems, including ERP, payroll, Metrics Portal, and award trackers.
  • Monitor grant budgets, cash flow, fund codes, and financial performance; support annual and rapid-activation budgets.
  • Coordinate quarterly programmatic and financial reports, including drafting schedules, content review, feedback incorporation, and submission.
  • Support rapid-onset crisis information management, needs assessments, response activations, and concept papers or proposals.
  • Ensure adherence to U.S. government, World Relief, CHS, DMEAL, knowledge-management, and partnership-management requirements.
  • Facilitate portfolio learning, strategy reviews, capacity-development opportunities, and best-practice sharing.
  • Collect, review, and approve portfolio content for communications, and represent portfolio updates internally and externally.
  • Support partner vetting, due diligence, agreement management, trip logistics, and assigned special projects.

Requirements

  • Mature personal Christian faith and commitment to World Relief’s mission, values, core beliefs, Statement of Faith, and Christian identity.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in international development, nonprofit, or mission work.
  • Humanitarian program implementation experience in fragile, conflict-affected, disaster-affected, or complex emergency contexts.
  • Experience supporting rapid humanitarian responses, including needs assessments, response strategy, partner selection, program design, implementation monitoring, and learning.
  • Ability to lead through influence across country teams, regional leadership, home office functions, and external partners.
  • Strong writing skills, including proposal, concept note, program design, donor narrative, and project-report development under time pressure.
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively to fragile settings with hardship or security risks.
  • French language skills.
  • Experience with basic financial procedures, budget oversight, spreadsheet functions, project prioritization, and managing competing demands.
  • Master’s degree in management, humanitarian assistance, international development, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience managing remote, multi-location or consortium-led programs and responding to sudden-onset emergencies, displacement, outbreaks, or public-health crises (preferred).
