Description

  • Conduct keyword and topic cluster research for high-intent graduate student and local patient searches.
  • Write SEO-optimized landing pages, program descriptions, and blog content for education and healthcare audiences.
  • Optimize the organization’s digital footprint so it is accurately cited by AI search engines and generative search tools.
  • Audit and improve local SEO performance, including Google Business Profiles, for clinic operations.
  • Monitor organic traffic and content performance to identify declines, content gaps, and missed opportunities.
  • Recommend new content, rewrites, and on-page improvements based on performance data.
  • Collaborate with the Lead Strategist to prioritize and execute high-impact organic growth initiatives.

Requirements

  • Deep expertise in modern SEO and GEO tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, and Google Search Console.
  • Exceptional long-form and short-form copywriting skills, ideally in healthcare, higher education, or another trust-driven industry.
  • Proven ability to use AI tools to support research, strategy development, and execution.
  • Familiarity with EOS, L10 meetings, and Agile marketing project management, with willingness to learn acceptable if lacking direct experience.
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail, with the ability to turn performance data into actionable recommendations.
  • An autonomous but collaborative working style, with confidence to self-direct while partnering effectively with stakeholders.
  • Experience working with higher education, healthcare, or multi-location service brands is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with local SEO for clinics, practices, or regional business profiles is preferred.
  • Familiarity with internal linking strategy, topical authority development, and conversion-oriented UX copy is preferred.
