Description

Lead threat modeling and security reviews across Wiz’s products and cloud infrastructure.
Build automation, policy-as-code, and security tooling to support shift-left security workflows.
Design and implement secure baselines for cloud resources and Kubernetes-based infrastructure.
Drive vulnerability management and remediation efforts from prioritization through preventative controls.
Extend detection and response capabilities to identify malicious activity, triage alerts, and investigate incidents.
Build strong partnerships with engineering and operations teams to deliver secure-by-design solutions.
Assess, monitor, and harden Wiz’s own environments using Wiz-for-Wiz.

Requirements

7+ years of experience in security engineering or security operations in cloud environments.
Strong AWS cloud security experience, with equivalent Azure or GCP experience considered alongside some AWS experience.
Experience with cloud-native Kubernetes services such as EKS, GKE, or AKS and strong container security principles.
Deep understanding of securing IAM and cloud identities at scale.
Proven ability to lead technical security reviews, conduct threat modeling, and translate findings into actionable controls.
Practical understanding of web application security concepts such as OWASP Top 10.
Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Helm, or Pulumi.
Experience building automation and tooling in Python, Go, Shell, HCL, or Rego.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent job experience.
Experience working with remote, globally distributed teams.
Experience in organizations that develop software or operate managed infrastructure and technology services.
Experience with CNAPP, CSPM, or CIEM solutions.
Must have the legal right to work in the country where the position is based without visa sponsorship.
