Description

  • Design and implement automated UI, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing frameworks.
  • Build AI-augmented testing workflows, including test generation, self-healing selectors, anomaly detection, and failure triage.
  • Develop validation strategies for nutrition computations, data pipelines, and AI/ML-driven outputs.
  • Integrate automated testing and release validation into CI/CD workflows.
  • Create reusable testing abstractions, quality standards, and engineering patterns across teams.
  • Partner with engineers to improve application testability, observability, and reliability.
  • Investigate intermittent failures, race conditions, state issues, flaky tests, and environment inconsistencies.
  • Define quality metrics, failure visibility, release-readiness standards, and system health dashboards.
  • Contribute to performance, scalability, and reliability testing strategies.
  • Promote proactive, system-level quality practices across the engineering organization.

Requirements

  • 5–10+ years of professional software engineering or software quality engineering experience.
  • Experience building automated UI testing frameworks.
  • Experience with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or equivalent tools.
  • Experience testing APIs and distributed application workflows.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment validation.
  • Experience with relational databases, ideally Postgres.
  • Ability to reason across UI, API, database, and infrastructure boundaries.
  • Strong debugging, systems-thinking, engineering judgment, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently in an ambiguous, fast-moving startup environment.
  • Experience with Blazor testing, C#, performance/load testing, observability, containerized environments, cloud infrastructure, developer tooling, or data-intensive systems is preferred.
  • Experience validating AI-assisted or ML-integrated workflows and understanding explainability, reproducibility, and trust in AI systems is preferred.
