Description

  • Build and evolve rich, data-driven Blazor user interfaces that power Code Builder workflows.
  • Implement features that combine deterministic nutrition logic with AI-assisted insights.
  • Work with complex domain models representing foods, ingredients, nutrients, processing, and health signals.
  • Extend ASP.NET APIs and services that execute and orchestrate nutrition computations at scale.
  • Integrate AI outputs responsibly into user-facing and internal workflows.
  • Navigate and improve a large, long-lived production codebase.
  • Debug and optimize behavior across the UI, application logic, and database layers.
  • Collaborate closely with Principal Engineers on system direction while owning meaningful execution areas.
  • Ship production features independently and contribute to how Code Builder should evolve.

Requirements

  • 6–10+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with ASP.NET and modern C#.
  • Production experience with ASP.NET Blazor, Server or WebAssembly.
  • Experience working in large, long-lived codebases.
  • Solid understanding of application architecture and layered systems.
  • Experience with relational databases, ideally Postgres.
  • Familiarity with Entity Framework Core or similar ORMs.
  • Comfort reasoning across UI, API, and database layers.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with senior technical peers.
  • Pragmatic engineering judgment with an emphasis on correctness, clarity, and maintainability.
  • Experience working with complex domain models or rule-based systems (nice to have).
  • Exposure to AI/ML-powered features or data pipelines (nice to have).
  • Experience with performance tuning or profiling in ASP.NET or Blazor (nice to have).
  • Background in data-intensive or analytics-heavy products (nice to have).
  • Experience with enterprise authentication and authorization systems (nice to have).
  • Experience with Microsoft Semantic Kernel, MCP Server SDK, or Agent Framework (nice to have).
