Description

  • Review machine-translated song lyrics for meaning, fluency, and naturalness.
  • Rate translation quality using predefined evaluation criteria.
  • Identify mistranslations, awkward phrasing, and cultural inaccuracies.
  • Maintain consistent and objective judgments throughout the review process.
  • Assess translations in a review-only workflow with no rewriting or editing.
  • Support the improvement of automated translation systems through detailed feedback.

Requirements

  • Native-level or near-native proficiency in both English (US) and Spanish (Mexico).
  • Strong understanding of linguistic nuances, idiomatic expressions, and cultural context in both languages.
  • Ability to focus on detail and maintain concentration over large volumes of content.
  • Previous experience in translation, localization, or linguistic quality evaluation is a plus but not required.
  • Familiarity with different music genres and lyrical styles is preferred.
  • Experience using online evaluation tools or platforms is preferred.
  • Must be available for a flexible schedule averaging about 4 hours per day.
  • Freelance availability for an ongoing project starting ASAP.
