Description

  • Define quarterly Squad quality OKRs in collaboration with the Squad Lead and Quality Manager, aligned with company OKRs.
  • Oversee measurement and reporting of Squad quality OKR progress at the required cadence and proactively identify actions to meet or exceed objectives.
  • Design and lead implementation and delivery of client quality account strategy and associated quality frameworks.
  • Manage partner alignment and monitor partner performance (including on-time delivery, time-to-accept tasks, language quality, and adherence to instructions) for accounts assigned to the Squad.
  • Serve as the customer point of contact for all language-quality matters, lead client-facing quality conversations, and maintain language-quality documentation.
  • Perform root-cause analysis and initiate corrective actions (QIP, RCA, CAPA) and escalations as needed to ensure quality SLAs are met.
  • Ensure maintenance of language assets (glossaries, style guides, translation memories) and execute or coordinate regular LQA and quality measurements.
  • Prepare and present quality reporting to clients, perform content-type analysis, and carry out quality management tasks during translation tests.
  • Support development and rollout of customer and internal initiatives, assess and drive process improvements, and train partners on customer-specific tools and processes.
  • Support Squad Group Lead on RFP or new-business quality support requests and act as an escalation point for PMs when partners miss deliverable due dates.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a fast-paced, client-centric environment, ideally within the translation or localization industry.
  • Experience and proven track record in Localization Vendor, Language, or Quality Management.
  • Knowledge of quality principles and practices and ability to design and implement quality frameworks.
  • Experience with Translation Memory tools, Translation Management Systems, and Machine Translation post-editing processes and tools.
  • Adept at data literacy and using data to inform decisions and measure quality outcomes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to deadlines, and ability to proactively assess and mitigate risk.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; fluency in an additional language (written and verbal) preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with partner- and customer-direct communication, Agile methodology, and/or Lean Six Sigma is an advantage.
  • Minimum of a Master's degree or equivalent experience.
