Description

  • Translate pharmacovigilance and clinical-regulatory content from Spanish into English.
  • Perform machine translation post-editing (MTPE) of safety content.
  • Copy edit translated and post-edited content for accuracy, tone, and consistency.
  • Deliver high-volume, time-sensitive safety and regulatory content within strict, non-extendable deadlines.
  • Maintain consistent daily capacity for an ongoing freelance program.

Requirements

  • Degree in translation, linguistics, language studies, or an equivalent degree with significant translation training.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience translating medical documentation, including pharmacovigilance and/or clinical-regulatory content.
  • Experience with pharmacovigilance documents such as SAE/AE reports, PSURs, SUSARs, ICSRs, DSURs, and Risk Management Plans (preferred).
  • Experience translating clinical or regulatory documents, including medical reports, protocols, synopses, ICFs, discharge reports, study reports, SmPCs, PILs, or medical literature.
  • Strong Spanish proficiency and native-level English preferred, though not required.
  • Experience with XTM or similar CAT tools.
  • Consistent daily availability; the engagement is not suited to part-time schedules.
  • Ability to meet fast, non-extendable turnaround times reliably and flexibly.
  • Healthcare professional background, particularly nursing, physician, or emergency room experience (preferred).
  • Willingness to provide daily and/or weekend availability (preferred).
