Description

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of a portfolio of data collection projects across onsite, studio, and remote modalities.
  • Build operational capability by contributing to SOPs, tool evaluation, process design, and pilots for new collection modalities.
  • Maintain portfolio trackers and dashboards, and run regular delivery reviews covering status, risks, escalations, and quality outcomes.
  • Forecast and secure contributor capacity across modalities, locales, and project types.
  • Partner with the Quality team on acceptance criteria, QC rubrics, audits, and corrective actions.
  • Identify inefficient workflow steps, maintain SOPs, and drive adoption of data collection tooling.
  • Manage vendor relationships within SLAs and drive performance improvements when needed.
  • Build and track project budgets, burn, and margins, and manage change orders to protect financial outcomes.
  • Lead root-cause analysis, corrective action plans, client reviews, and scope-change escalations.
  • Coach PMs and coordinators, support onboarding and skills growth, and collaborate with recruiting on hiring efforts.

Requirements

  • 3-4 years leading multi-project portfolios or large multi-workstream programs in data collection, content operations, annotation, or a related field.
  • Background in contributor capacity planning, vendor management, and quality systems.
  • Experience piloting or scaling process improvements is preferred.
  • Experience managing or coaching junior team members.
  • Strong portfolio planning and governance skills across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Clear communication skills for senior clients and internal leaders.
  • Strong use of spreadsheets, PM/task boards, and basic BI tools.
  • Sound judgment on scope, time, cost, and quality trade-offs.
  • Comfort working with global, distributed teams and in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
  • Experience with data collection platforms, contributor management systems, and annotation tools is preferred.
  • Familiarity with data submission and validation workflows, session operations, QA, rubric design, or compliance frameworks such as GDPR, COPPA, and PII handling is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and flexible hours with overlap for US-based stakeholders and teams.
  • Multilingual ability is an advantage.
