Description

  • Review robot-manipulation video annotations across atomic motion, skill/subtask, and task/goal labeling levels.
  • Cross-check annotations against overhead and wrist-mounted camera views to verify actions, objects, and contact or grasp details.
  • Verify complete video coverage, including idle periods and pauses.
  • Confirm descriptions accurately capture outcomes, including failures, drops, and slipped grips.
  • Assess adherence to the style guide, including vocabulary, spatial accuracy, terminology consistency, and language variation.
  • Identify recurring annotation errors and report calibration needs to the team lead.
  • Provide specific, actionable written feedback using style-guide and reference-example guidance.
  • Participate in calibration sessions with the team and client to align on evolving standards and edge cases.
  • Maintain QC records of review outcomes, common errors, and annotator performance trends.

Requirements

  • Excellent written English and strong reading comprehension.
  • Exceptional attention to detail when comparing video content with written descriptions.
  • Strong understanding of spatial and mechanical descriptions, including directions and object parts.
  • Ability to apply detailed style guides consistently and make sound judgments in ambiguous cases.
  • Ability to provide clear, specific, and constructive written feedback.
  • Reliable, self-directed work habits and ability to meet review turnaround expectations independently.
  • Experience in quality control, editing, proofreading, or annotation review (preferred).
  • Experience with video annotation, data labeling, or transcription QA (preferred).
  • Familiarity with robotics terminology such as grippers, end-effectors, and manipulation (preferred).
  • Experience with Label Studio or similar annotation review and approval workflows (preferred).
