Description

  • Perform non-linguistic quality control for English translations covering pharmacovigilance, regulatory, and clinical content.
  • Run QC checks in CAT tools to identify accuracy and consistency issues.
  • Validate formatting, layout, numbers, dates, units, terminology, and compliance with client instructions.
  • Process non-editable or handwritten source files and complete formatting QC after conversion.
  • Manage multiple small files and meet turnaround times typically ranging from 12 to 24 hours.
  • Work flexibly according to project availability, including occasional weekends and bank holidays.

Requirements

  • At least 6 months of QC/QA experience in the localization industry; project management experience involving pre-delivery checks is also accepted.
  • Advanced English proficiency at C1 level or above.
  • Familiarity with CAT tools, preferably XTM or Phrase.
  • Familiarity with QA tools such as Xbench, Verifika, or CAT-integrated QA tools.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word Track Changes.
  • Availability to work 4–5 hours per day.
  • Ability to meet urgent 12–24-hour turnaround times and manage many small files.
  • Willingness to complete an onboarding and quality assessment.
  • Submit an English CV detailing QC experience, document types reviewed, CAT tools used, and email and phone contact information.
