Description

  • Create eight English title options across two creative exploration groups for Korean content.
  • Balance natural English phrasing with the original Korean title’s core meaning and storyline.
  • Produce culturally authentic, meaningful, and broadly appealing localized titles.
  • Respond in English to client stakeholder questions during title vetting, with Korean language support available.
  • Provide written rationales for title choices when requested, in both English and Korean.
  • Collaborate with global production, localization, and client stakeholders on title exploration and analysis.
  • Deliver high-quality copy edits and localization outputs while meeting project deadlines.

Requirements

  • Native-level English proficiency with excellent command of Korean.
  • Proven experience copy editing Korean (ko-KR) to English (en-US) content.
  • 3+ years of professional translation experience with a degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field, or 5+ years of professional translation experience without a formal translation degree.
  • Demonstrated experience as a copywriter or transcreator.
  • Strong understanding of marketing tone, brand voice, and customer-facing communication.
  • Excellent attention to detail, terminological consistency, and linguistic accuracy.
  • Ability to work flexibly, reliably, and responsively in a fast-paced localization environment.
  • Strong communication skills and openness to feedback and revisions.
  • Ability to provide bilingual rationales for title choices when requested.
  • Passion for marketing and collaboration with stakeholders and team members.
