Description

  • Translate life sciences content from English into Hungarian while preserving meaning and readability for the target audience.
  • Assess and post-edit machine-translated content for language quality on an ongoing basis.
  • Translate and review clinical patient- and investigator-facing medical documents.
  • Communicate with customers by phone or video call when needed.
  • Use CAT and translation management tools to complete assigned work.
  • Deliver approximately 2,000 to 5,000 words per week.

Requirements

  • Native-level Hungarian fluency and fluency in English.
  • Degree in linguistics, medicine, or an equivalent field.
  • At least 3 years of translation and/or editing experience with life sciences or medical documents.
  • Experience translating and reviewing content in the relevant medical subject areas.
  • Experience with clinical patient- and investigator-facing materials.
  • Proficiency with CAT tools, including XTM and Trados.
  • Experience with Phrase is beneficial.
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to speak directly with customers.
  • Available to start as soon as possible.
