Description

  • Review, edit, fact-check, and adapt music-related content from US English into German.
  • Improve AI-generated source copy for clarity, coherence, and creative impact.
  • Research music terminology, artists, genres, trends, and cultural preferences for market relevance.
  • Provide feedback on written content.
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality content across audiovisual and digital surfaces.
  • Work within client tools, workflows, style guides, and quality guidelines.

Requirements

  • Native-level fluency in German.
  • Proven copywriting experience.
  • Experience editing or writing content across multiple music genres.
  • Strong knowledge of contemporary music terminology, trends, and industry conventions.
  • Deep understanding of Pop/Rock, Hip-Hop, and K-Pop.
  • Ability to tailor tone and style for different musical contexts and audiences.
  • Knowledge of cultural influences and regional preferences in music content.
  • Strong awareness of pop culture, mainstream language, trends, and references.
  • Ability to maintain an authentic, non-stiff tone.
  • Published work with outlets such as Billboard, Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, or NME (preferred).
  • Experience with music streaming services, editorial platforms, or music-focused apps (preferred).
  • Ability to adapt voice and style for Gen Z and pop-culture audiences (preferred).
