Description

  • Translate clinical research, regulatory, and pharmacovigilance documents from English into Latin American Spanish.
  • Perform machine translation post-editing (MTPE) for safety content.
  • Copy edit translated and post-edited content for accuracy, tone, and consistency.
  • Deliver time-sensitive work within strict, non-extendable turnaround times.
  • Work in client CAT tool environments, including XTM and Phrase.
  • Use Microsoft Word Track Changes according to project-specific instructions.
  • Handle documents such as clinical protocols, informed consent forms, patient materials, SmPCs, PILs, labels, CTD modules, PSURs, DSURs, RMPs, and SAE/AE reports.

Requirements

  • Be a native speaker of Mexican Spanish (ESMX).
  • Meet one education/experience pathway: a degree in Translation, Linguistics, Language Studies, or equivalent; a graduate qualification in another field plus 2+ years of full-time translation experience; or 5+ years of full-time translation experience.
  • Have at least 2 years of practical life sciences and medical translation experience, including clinical trials and pharmacovigilance.
  • Be familiar with CAT tools such as XTM or Phrase.
  • Be proficient in using Track Changes in Microsoft Word.
  • Be willing to complete an assessment as part of onboarding and quality procedures.
  • Degree in Medicine, Biology, Biochemistry, Clinical Research, Translation, Linguistics, Philology, or a related field (preferred).
  • In-house experience at a CRO or pharmaceutical company (preferred).
