Description

  • Interpret and maintain the locale’s quality standards across UI, marketing, informational, legal, product, and support content.
  • Review style guide and glossary updates, assess their impact, and track client feedback from calibration and quality discussions.
  • Serve as the primary linguistic contact for the client’s Language Manager, handling clarifications, arbitration, escalations, and expectation tracking.
  • Lead alignment roundtables and publish monthly quality digests covering performance, improvement priorities, updates, and arbitration outcomes.
  • Coach reviewers through one-to-one feedback and shadowing sessions based on alignment data.
  • Own the locale’s review service score, including RQE audit and alignment performance.
  • Ensure arbitrations submitted to the client are valid, evidence-based, and accurately documented.
  • Identify recurring quality patterns and develop style guide improvement proposals.
  • Share cross-locale quality patterns with the Welocalize Quality Manager.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in Localization Quality Assurance, Senior Language Lead, or Quality Governance roles.
  • Native-level Slovenian and professional-level English.
  • Experience serving as the primary contact for client Language Managers.
  • Experience managing formal arbitration or escalation processes and facilitating conflict resolution.
  • Deep practical experience with RQE, LQE, error rubrics, severity mapping, and localization evaluation frameworks.
  • Ability to analyze style guide changes, identify implicit client expectations, and apply content-specific quality tolerances.
  • Experience facilitating one-to-one coaching, shadowing sessions, alignment roundtables, and monthly quality reporting.
  • Ability to track error concentrations, severity drift, and alignment scores and translate findings into style guide improvements.
  • Prior experience supporting major technology localization programs and using calibration or alignment tools (preferred).
  • Must pass a background check and be physically located in an approved country.
