Description

  • Review style guide and glossary updates and assess their impact across quality categories and content types.
  • Track client Language Manager feedback from calibrations and quality calls to clarify quality expectations.
  • Lead alignment roundtables and publish monthly quality digests covering performance, improvements, updates, errors, and arbitration outcomes.
  • Coach reviewers through one-to-one feedback, shadowing sessions, and training based on alignment data.
  • Develop evidence-based style guide proposals from recurring quality and justification patterns.
  • Share cross-locale quality patterns with the Welocalize Quality Manager.
  • Own the locale’s review service score, including RQE audit and alignment performance.
  • Maintain valid, evidence-based arbitration records and manage client clarifications and escalations.
  • Build and maintain alignment with the client’s Language Manager to reduce quality surprises.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in Localization Quality Assurance, Senior Language Lead, or Quality Governance roles.
  • Native-level Lao and professional-level English.
  • Experience serving as the primary contact for client Language Managers, including arbitration, escalation, and conflict-resolution processes.
  • Deep practical knowledge of localization quality frameworks, including RQE, LQE, error rubrics, and severity mapping.
  • Ability to analyze style guide changes, identify implicit client expectations, and map quality tolerance by content type.
  • Experience facilitating one-to-one coaching, shadowing sessions, alignment roundtables, and monthly quality reporting.
  • Ability to track error concentrations, severity drift, and alignment scores and translate findings into style guide improvements.
  • Experience supporting major technology localization programs and using calibration or alignment tools (preferred).
  • Ability to work remotely as an independent contractor from an approved country.
  • Completion of a required background check.
