Description

  • Translate clinical research, regulatory, and pharmacovigilance documents from English into German.
  • Perform machine translation post-editing of safety content.
  • Copy edit translated and post-edited content for accuracy, tone, and consistency.
  • Meet strict, non-extendable deadlines for time-sensitive content.
  • Work in client CAT tool environments, including XTM and Phrase.
  • Use Microsoft Word Track Changes in accordance with project-specific instructions.

Requirements

  • Meet one education/experience pathway: a degree in Translation, Linguistics, Language Studies, or equivalent; a graduate qualification in another field plus 2+ years of full-time translation experience; or 5+ years of full-time translation experience.
  • Have at least 2 years of practical life sciences and medical translation experience, including clinical trials and pharmacovigilance.
  • Be familiar with CAT tools, including XTM or Phrase.
  • Be familiar with Track Changes in Microsoft Word.
  • Be willing to complete an onboarding and quality assessment.
  • Provide an English CV detailing life sciences and medical translation experience, relevant document types, CAT tools used, and contact information.
  • Degree in Medicine, Biology, Biochemistry, Clinical Research, Translation, Linguistics, Philology, or a similar field (preferred).
  • In-house experience at a CRO or pharmaceutical company (preferred).
