Description

  • Translate, copy-edit, and perform machine translation post-editing (MTPE) from English (en-US) into German (de-DE and/or de-CH).
  • Deliver 5,000+ words per week of marketing, UI, product, support, informational, and light legal content.
  • Use the client-specific CAT tool to complete assigned localization work.
  • Produce accurate, high-quality translations while meeting project deadlines.
  • Incorporate feedback and revisions and communicate responsively with the project team.

Requirements

  • Native-level German proficiency in de-DE and/or de-CH and excellent command of English (en-US).
  • 2+ years of professional translation experience plus a degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field; or 5+ years of professional translation experience without a formal translation degree.
  • Demonstrated English-to-German translation experience across informational, marketing, UI, product, and support content.
  • Experience using CAT tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver quality work in a fast-paced localization environment.
  • Strong communication skills, responsiveness, reliability, and openness to feedback and revisions.
