Description

  • Translate pharmacovigilance documents from English (US) to French (Canada).
  • Perform translation, copy editing, and machine translation post-editing tasks.
  • Translate specialized medical and pharmaceutical materials, including Product Monographs, Clinical Study Documents, and Medical Information Letters.
  • Deliver high-quality, consistent translations within tight and time-sensitive deadlines.
  • Use client-provided XTM and Phrase (Memsource) CAT tools.
  • Maintain responsive, reliable, and professional communication to meet client delivery expectations.
  • Handle sensitive technical content with accuracy and confidentiality.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in medical and pharmaceutical translation for pharmaceutical companies or life sciences translation agencies in Quebec or Canada.
  • Expertise translating Product Monographs and Medical Information Letters.
  • Bachelor’s degree in translation, or a bachelor’s degree in a science field such as pharmacology, biology, or biochemistry combined with a translation degree from a Quebec or Canadian university.
  • Fluency in English and native-level proficiency in Canadian French.
  • Availability during US time-zone business hours, from any location.
  • Strong attention to detail, consistency, and ability to meet time-sensitive deadlines.
  • Familiarity with XTM and Phrase (Memsource) CAT tools; training is available if needed.
  • Ability to manage confidential, technical medical content with precision.
  • Membership in a professional order such as OTTIAQ (preferred).
  • Experience with high-volume, time-critical pharmacovigilance, medical, or pharmaceutical translation projects (preferred).
