Description

  • Lead the Design System team to improve productivity and design consistency across other teams.
  • Design and implement solutions for complex scenarios with a focus on scalability, maintainability, performance, and accessibility.
  • Work closely with design and engineering partners to define intake processes and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Serve as the main point of communication with other teams and business areas.
  • Act as a technical reference for the team and across the company.
  • Mentor and guide engineers while fostering technical excellence, ownership, and collaboration.
  • Participate in architectural decisions and suggest process or product improvements.
  • Create a supportive environment that encourages wellbeing and work-life balance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong expertise in React and React Native.
  • Experience building or using Design Systems in high-quality frontend applications.
  • Experience managing engineers and team processes to ensure deliverables.
  • Ability to architect large-scale, multi-tier web applications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Portuguese and English.
  • Prior experience in team leadership or management is mandatory for this role.
  • Prior experience with React Native is mandatory for this role.
  • Strong desire for learning and self-development.
