Description

Coordinate all transportation services for participants and potential enrollees.
Create and manage daily transportation schedules and adjust them for cancellations, add-ons, and last-minute requests.
Perform active dispatching to support daily transportation operations.
Maintain a daily call log for operational tracking and communication.
Monitor and respond to HUB inquiries and operational requests.
Update schedules based on Direct Line changes and updates.
Document cancellations and no-shows promptly and communicate missed appointments to the clinic team.
Provide weekend dispatch coverage as needed.
Oversee vehicle safety as part of transportation operations.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalency; professional experience may be substituted.
At least 4 years of experience in a public or private transportation setting.
At least 2 years of dispatcher experience.
Current valid state driver’s license and vehicle insurance required.
Ability to participate in DMV pull notice and random alcohol/controlled substance testing programs.
Ability to pass a DOJ/FBI background check and a DOT physical exam.
Must remain eligible to drive under WelbeHealth’s commercial auto insurance program.
Applicants are generally expected to be at least 25 years old; candidates ages 23–24 may be considered based on driving history and underwriting criteria.
Drivers over age 70 may be required to provide current medical certification.
Strong communication skills, technology proficiency, and the ability to make timely decisions while managing competing priorities.
