Description

  • Lead end-to-end visualization projects in ParaView, from importing raw simulation or scientific datasets to producing final rendered outputs.
  • Document workflow steps, decision-making, and analytical reasoning throughout the visualization process for AI training purposes.
  • Clean, preprocess, and manage complex datasets using ParaView tools and features.
  • Implement and customize advanced filters, scalar/vector fields, and visualization pipelines.
  • Create visual outputs such as volume renderings, streamlines, contour plots, and similar representations.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and optimize visualization workflows for performance and accuracy.
  • Collaborate remotely with the client’s team and communicate insights and best practices clearly in writing and verbally.

Requirements

  • Extensive hands-on, expert-level experience using ParaView for real-world engineering, medical, or scientific visualization tasks.
  • Proven ability to manage complete visualization workflows in ParaView from dataset import to final output.
  • Strong Python scripting skills for automation, customization, or data processing in ParaView.
  • Background in engineering, medical imaging, physics research, computational sciences, or a closely related technical field.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for clearly explaining technical concepts and decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot issues and optimize visualization pipelines for accuracy and performance.
  • Experience using ParaView in specialized domains such as medical, engineering, or materials science (preferred).
  • Experience teaching, mentoring, or creating educational materials related to scientific visualization (preferred).
  • Active participation in the ParaView user community or contributions to open-source visualization projects (preferred).

Benefits

  • Compensation of $19 to $65 per hour.
