Description

  • Review loan files and gather outstanding items needed for final loan approval.
  • Serve as a liaison between operational and sales teams during loan transactions.
  • Order supporting documentation and communicate with third-party vendors to complete loan files.
  • Evaluate loan applications for reasonableness and escalate files when further review is needed.
  • Manage a full pipeline of assigned loans from disclosures signed through closing.
  • Prioritize daily workload to maintain a strong client experience and meet deadlines.
  • Ensure loans adhere to investor and regulatory guidelines, including required pipeline tasks and objectives.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders throughout the mortgage process.
  • Contribute to a positive team culture aligned with company values, including accountability, collaboration, diversity, and inclusion.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of mortgage processing experience in a retail environment.
  • Mortgage Loan Originator License; the company will sponsor the right candidate.
  • Knowledge of Conventional Conforming and Jumbo loan guidelines.
  • Experience in the non-delegated mortgage lending space.
  • Understanding of state and federal lending regulations, including TRID and HMDA.
  • Strong working knowledge of mortgage loan products and underwriting guidelines.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to set and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and influence positive outcomes at all levels of an organization.
  • Extensive knowledge of customer service and interpersonal best practices.
  • Openness to adapting to industry changes and applying technology to improve business processes.
