Description

  • Design, test, deploy, and maintain high-performance web applications for simulation, event discovery, and evaluation platforms.
  • Collaborate with UX designers, Product Managers, and engineering teams to turn requirements into polished user-facing features.
  • Build interfaces that handle complex data and improve user workflows.
  • Surface insights from simulation results, data science outputs, and evaluation processes.
  • Integrate VLMs, LLMs, AI agents, and new AI infrastructure into product experiences.
  • Contribute to front-end architecture, component libraries, and development best practices.
  • Engage with end users to understand their needs and refine tooling.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience building web applications.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and modern front-end frameworks, especially Angular.
  • Experience with HTML5, CSS3, including preprocessors, and web standards.
  • Experience with front-end testing frameworks.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Experience with C++, Java, or other backend technologies (preferred).
  • Experience with data visualization libraries and techniques (preferred).
  • Experience using AI-powered developer tools or building/augmenting such tools (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Google's internal development tools and infrastructure, or similar tools such as Kubernetes and Bazel (preferred).

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $213,000 to $263,000 USD.
  • Eligibility for Waymo’s discretionary annual bonus program.
  • Eligibility for Waymo’s equity incentive plan.
  • Access to Waymo’s generous company benefits program, subject to eligibility requirements.
