Description

  • Deliver virtual or on-site professional learning sessions for school partners as assigned.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in specific trainings from the Wayfinder Professional Learning catalog.
  • Efficiently manage, gather, and share information related to training engagements.
  • Prepare and facilitate dynamic sessions that leave participants with actionable takeaways.
  • Support educators in understanding and implementing Wayfinder in their classrooms.
  • Work independently on assigned tasks while adapting to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Travel within the continental U.S. for training and facilitation work.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Director of Learning + Development and other internal team members.

Requirements

  • Must be based on the West Coast, USA.
  • Availability during August and September is critical due to peak training volume.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
  • Experience delivering professional learning to educators in both virtual and in-person settings.
  • Experience teaching in or supporting teachers in a school or district.
  • Minimum of 1 year teaching or supporting Wayfinder in a school or district is preferred.
  • Experience working directly with educators to support success with a product or program is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Zoom, Google Meets, Microsoft Teams, Google Tools for Education, Clever, Slack, Google Drive, spreadsheets, and Google Calendar.
  • Strong, consistent internet bandwidth and access to your own computer.
  • Ability to travel within the continental U.S. 50–75% of the time.
  • Ability to work from a quiet space for delivering virtual professional development.
  • Strong stage presence, interpersonal communication skills, and project management ability.
  • Comfort working independently in a startup-like environment where priorities can change quickly.

Benefits

  • Virtual facilitation pay of $100–$125/hour.
  • Prep and follow-up pay of $50–$55/hour for up to 2 hours.
  • In-person facilitation pay of $500–$550 per session.
  • Travel expenses covered upfront by Wayfinder, with no reimbursement required.
  • Seasonal contractor opportunity with onboarding in June and a July 2026 start date.
