Description

  • Lead integration and operationalization of Microsoft security tools across enterprise cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Support and expand the enterprise cloud security program, including strategy execution and operational handoff.
  • Provide deep technical subject matter expertise and guidance on Microsoft security technologies to engineering and security teams.
  • Implement, configure, and manage Microsoft Defender security solutions across enterprise environments.
  • Design, implement, and manage Conditional Access Policies to enforce identity and access security controls.
  • Integrate Defender for Cloud for CSPM/CWP and embed cloud security into DevSecOps workflows.
  • Configure and tune Microsoft Sentinel detections and use cases (preferred responsibility).
  • Implement endpoint management and enforce security policies using Microsoft Intune.
  • Ensure email protection using Defender for Office 365 and apply information protection and compliance controls with Microsoft Purview.

Requirements

  • Senior-level Microsoft Security Consultant (SME) experience supporting enterprise cloud security programs.
  • Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Conditional Access Policies (required).
  • Hands-on experience implementing and managing Microsoft Defender solutions (Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Cloud Apps, Defender for Identity, Defender for Office 365).
  • Experience with Defender for Cloud (CSPM, CWP) and integrating cloud security into DevSecOps processes.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Sentinel use case development and tuning (preferred).
  • Experience with Microsoft Purview for information protection and compliance.
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune for endpoint management and security policy enforcement.
  • Preferred certifications: AZ-104 (Azure Administrator Associate), AZ-500 (Azure Security Engineer Associate), AZ-305 (Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
  • Availability to work remotely on a 6–8 month contract engagement.
