Description

  • Deliver high-quality code for features and bug fixes according to team sprint goals.
  • Execute well-defined engineering tasks and contribute to feature development and bug resolution.
  • Write clear, concise, and well-tested code, including unit and integration tests to ensure reliability.
  • Assist in maintaining and improving existing codebases and production systems.
  • Participate in team rituals, sprint ceremonies, and peer code reviews to collaborate and learn from colleagues.
  • Work cross-functionally with Product Managers and Designers to implement product requirements.
  • Support technical projects from inception through delivery, including design, implementation, and handoff.
  • Be available for occasional on-call responsibilities to monitor and support production systems while learning operational practices.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of professional experience with modern web programming languages (examples: Python, React).
  • Degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Foundational exposure to full-stack development with a basic understanding of how frontend interfaces interact with backend APIs and databases.
  • Comfortable using the terminal and basic version control with Git.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Interest in owning technical work from inception to delivery and learning operational/production support.
  • Availability for occasional on-call work outside standard business hours.
  • Willingness to move between teams as business needs evolve (fluid team structure).
  • Role is listed for Canada and offered as remote (candidates should be able to work in the applicable location/region).
