Description

  • Lead the core music distribution product team and own delivery of business outcomes.
  • Define and communicate a multi-year vision for WMG’s distribution ecosystem.
  • Translate business challenges into outcome-based product objectives.
  • Partner with Engineering and Design leadership to solve global rights, supply chain automation, and high-scale digital delivery problems.
  • Lead continuous discovery and validate value, usability, feasibility, and business viability early and often.
  • Coach, recruit, and mentor Product Managers and support their growth in the product craft.
  • Build a culture of ownership focused on solving problems rather than shipping features.
  • Collaborate with leaders across global labels, legal, finance, and operations to align constraints and priorities.
  • Champion a shared product vision across the organization.
  • Drive principled innovation, including the use of AI with guardrails that protect artists’ livelihoods.

Requirements

  • Extensive product management experience with a track record of leading PM teams that ship products solving complex problems.
  • Experience in music and/or digital media, preferred.
  • Ability to discuss system architecture with engineers and P&L constraints with executives.
  • Understanding of how to assess and mitigate value, usability, feasibility, and business viability risks upfront.
  • Strong ownership mindset and ability to lead through complexity and obstacles.
  • Genuine passion for music and for helping artists share their work and build sustainable careers.
  • Experience working in cross-functional product, design, and engineering teams.
  • Ability to recruit, mentor, and develop Product Managers.
  • Comfort operating in a global, highly collaborative business environment.
