Description

  • Provide technical leadership in a fast-paced environment.
  • Enforce best practices through design reviews, code reviews, CI/CD, and test-driven development.
  • Develop high-quality, high-performance features using Node.js and React.js.
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers.
  • Write testable, reliable code and deploy changes continuously.
  • Optimize application performance and scalability.
  • Operate and monitor global-scale production systems.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience with React, Redux, Node.js, and responsive design.
  • Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and software design.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript.
  • Experience building large-scale front-end web applications.
  • Ability to work as an independent contractor on a freelance basis.
  • Availability to overlap with PST time zone.
  • Preference for a full-time 40-hour/week commitment, with part-time candidates considered.
  • Experience modernizing or maintaining webmail, mobile web, or classic web products is relevant.
