Description

  • Plan and execute initiatives to grow and energize the VRChat community in Japan.
  • Manage and improve major community channels such as X, Discord, and LINE.
  • Build and maintain relationships with creators, partners, and related communities.
  • Share user feedback and community trends internally to inform product and experience improvements.
  • Collaborate closely with users, partners, and internal teams to strengthen the Japan community foundation.
  • Lead efforts to increase ongoing user engagement in the Japanese market.

Requirements

  • 4–7+ years of professional experience at a platform company, game or entertainment company, or in the creator ecosystem.
  • Experience managing online communities or creator-led communities on X, Discord, LINE, or similar platforms.
  • Deep understanding of Japanese internet culture, the VTuber ecosystem, and creator communities.
  • Experience planning and executing field marketing, grassroots initiatives, or community-led events.
  • Ability to work autonomously and proactively in an environment with limited budget or team support.
  • Native-level Japanese and business-level English.
  • Experience in game, social platform, UGC ecosystem, or creator economy-related products (preferred).
  • Existing network or relationships with VTuber agencies, creators, or IP holders (preferred).
  • Experience running influencer campaigns or creator-led growth programs in the Japanese market (preferred).
  • Experience with VRChat and/or online communities (preferred).
  • Experience launching a community-driven growth program from scratch (strongly preferred).
  • Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment (strongly preferred).
