Description

  • Design and implement high-throughput processing pipelines using Modern C++ and GPU-accelerated frameworks.
  • Write and optimize custom GPU kernels for signal processing and low-latency data movement.
  • Profile full-stack software performance to identify and remove CPU/GPU bottlenecks.
  • Optimize memory usage and PCIe bandwidth utilization to improve system performance.
  • Design hardware abstraction interfaces so algorithms can run across radio and sensor platforms.
  • Manage build and deployment pipelines for embedded Linux operating systems.
  • Ensure accelerator resources are correctly exposed to containerized applications in fielded systems.
  • Architect and implement solutions for multi-GPU servers and power-constrained embedded modules.
  • Work with minimal supervision to own critical subsystems and core system performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering from an accredited college or university.
  • 4 to 7 years of software engineering design experience.
  • U.S. citizenship is required due to program security requirements.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance; active clearance preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead engineering teams in a structured software product development environment.
  • Proven experience leading software engineering teams through the full development lifecycle.
  • Strong organizational and technical communication skills, including presenting to internal and government stakeholders.
  • Expert proficiency in Modern C++.
  • Willingness to work with or learn Rust for safety-critical components.
  • Experience with CUDA or similar parallel computing standards.
  • Ability to reason about heterogeneous memory architectures such as Unified Memory and Zero-Copy.
  • Solid experience with Linux system administration, container orchestration (Kubernetes/Docker), and networking configuration.
  • Experience designing decoupled, modular software components using standard protocols such as gRPC and Protobuf.
  • Current DoD Top Secret SCI Security Clearance is preferred.
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering from an accredited college or university is preferred.
  • Background in Digital Signal Processing (DSP) or RF systems is preferred.
  • Experience with kernel-bypass networking such as DPDK, RDMA, or GPUDirect technologies is preferred.
  • Applicants must be eligible to obtain required export authorizations and be a U.S. Person under ITAR/EAR rules.

  • Salary range of $104,236 to $163,300, with California pay range listed at $113,300 to $163,300 USD.
