Description

Develop and maintain test strategies, plans, cases, procedures, and validation documentation.
Design, implement, and maintain automated tests for workflows, APIs, integrations, regression coverage, and critical functionality.
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and quality gates.
Perform risk-based, formal, and exploratory testing and document objective evidence.
Review requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and designs for testability and coverage.
Maintain traceability across requirements, risks, tests, defects, and release evidence.
Investigate, reproduce, and document defects; collaborate on root-cause analysis and corrective-action verification.
Own software verification and support validation activities for controlled releases and significant changes.
Ensure testing complies with the Quality Management System, development procedures, change controls, and regulatory expectations.
Support audits, nonconformances, CAPA activities, and improvements to testing frameworks and quality processes.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
3–8 years of software testing, quality engineering, or software validation experience.
Experience in a regulated industry such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, clinical research, digital health, healthcare, or medical devices.
Understanding of software quality and validation principles within a controlled Quality Management System.
Experience creating and executing documented test cases, procedures, and protocols.
Experience maintaining requirements-to-test traceability and verification/validation evidence.
Experience with defect management, investigation, root-cause analysis, regression testing, and test automation.
Understanding of Agile development within a regulated software lifecycle.
Strong documentation, attention to detail, independent problem-solving, and ownership skills.
Working knowledge of Git or another modern version-control system; preferred experience with regulated frameworks, CSA/CSV, clinical software, SaaS, REST APIs, AWS, CI/CD, data-processing systems, or regulated-system controls.

Benefits

Base salary of $120,000–$140,000, depending on experience and location.
