Description

  • Independently drive large, complex projects from concept to completion.
  • Conduct research, explore ideas, prototype solutions, and create visual designs across the product design process.
  • Design high-quality interfaces that balance function, aesthetics, and usability.
  • Work within existing design systems and determine when to reuse or create new components.
  • Communicate recommendations clearly to clients and teammates and build alignment on product strategy, design, functionality, and usability.
  • Collaborate with agile development teams on software applications and help clients define realistic deliverables.
  • Meet deadlines while considering client budgets and timelines.
  • Listen proactively and collaborate effectively with clients and teammates.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience designing digital products.
  • Expert-level Figma skills.
  • An online portfolio of relevant work that can be shared with the employer.
  • Experience with interaction design and prototyping tools to communicate complex interactive concepts.
  • Familiarity with modern development approaches, including web applications, client-side applications, and native mobile applications.
  • Senior- or lead-level design experience is preferred.
  • Availability for contract work on future projects is preferred, even if current availability is limited.
  • Experience working within established design systems is required.
