Description

  • Monitor daily and weekly sales performance for select categories to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Prepare presentations and reports for leadership on sales and inventory performance.
  • Maintain the weekly Open-to-Buy data model and reconcile variances to inventory targets.
  • Partner with buyers to track best-seller receipts and recommend chase inventory, flow timing, and pre-orders.
  • Analyze sell-through, weeks of supply, and aged inventory to inform planning decisions.
  • Recommend markdowns and RTVs to the senior planner and buyers based on performance data.
  • Collaborate with buying, marketing, site, and operations teams on inventory and sales updates.
  • Support strategic initiatives such as product debuts, promotions, and influencer collaborations through analysis and reporting.
  • Prepare weekly selling reports and assist with quarterly hindsight reports.
  • Support the planning team with ad-hoc analysis, reporting, and administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in merchandise planning, allocation, or inventory management, preferably in e-commerce.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and basic financial modeling.
  • Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, merchandising, finance, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with NetSuite, Shopify, or similar systems is beneficial.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Must be located in California, Arizona, Colorado, or Oregon.
  • Must be able to work standard business hours in the Pacific Time Zone (PST).
