Description

  • Prepare monthly management accounts for the group.
  • Lead multi-entity group consolidation across UK, Jersey, and India entities.
  • Maintain robust balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules to ensure audit readiness.
  • Manage intercompany invoicing, reconciliations, and eliminations.
  • Own day-to-day accounting operations, including supplier payments, expenses, payroll, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Deliver month-end and year-end close processes across the group.
  • Lead FCA reporting requirements from a finance perspective and coordinate with compliance teams.
  • Oversee UK VAT compliance, international GST obligations, and transfer pricing frameworks.
  • Manage finance operations across UK, Jersey, and India, including the transition to bring India accounting in-house.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, cost control, procurement, and insurance renewal processes.
  • Manage relationships with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisers.
  • Lead and support the Finance Assistant and other junior team members.
  • Identify and implement finance process improvements, automation opportunities, and internal controls.

Requirements

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Strong experience producing management accounts and working with multi-entity group structures.
  • Solid understanding of intercompany accounting, consolidation, and balance sheet control.
  • Experience managing audits and working with external auditors.
  • Knowledge of UK VAT and international tax considerations.
  • Strong understanding of financial controls, governance, and reporting processes.
  • Experience working with international entities and cross-border finance operations.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a remote-first environment.
  • Experience in an FCA-regulated environment (preferred).
  • Exposure to India or other international finance operations (preferred).
  • Experience in a scaling or investor-backed business (preferred).
  • Experience improving systems, automation, or finance workflows (preferred).
  • Experience working in a remote team (preferred).
  • UK-based and eligible to work in the UK.
