Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain the iOS SDK in Swift with a focus on performance, security, and usability.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver SDK and mobile features.
  • Address performance and compatibility challenges across different devices and network conditions.
  • Implement and improve testing strategies, including unit, integration, and performance testing.
  • Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor other engineers.
  • Identify and advocate for new technologies, tools, and best practices to improve efficiency and product quality.
  • Proactively identify bottlenecks and resolve issues to improve reliability and stability.
  • Contribute to the technical direction of the iOS SDK and help shape Veriff’s mobile products.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Senior iOS Engineer with a strong track record of building high-quality iOS applications or SDKs.
  • Strong expertise in Swift and iOS frameworks such as Cocoa Touch and UIKit.
  • Experience designing and maintaining scalable, testable codebases and APIs.
  • Solid understanding of mobile architecture patterns and best practices.
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating them into mobile applications.
  • Experience with testing frameworks and automation tools, including unit, integration, and performance testing and Fastlane.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ownership mindset, and ability to drive complex initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Experience developing and maintaining iOS SDKs is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban is preferred.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation processes is preferred.
  • Exposure to other platforms, such as Android or cross-platform frameworks, is a plus.
  • Knowledge of accessibility and inclusive design practices is preferred.
