Description

  • Own the strategy, planning, and execution of the global payments roadmap across multiple regions and markets.
  • Conduct market research, customer discovery, and competitive analysis to guide payments product decisions.
  • Partner with payment processors, gateways, and banking partners to evaluate capabilities and manage ongoing relationships.
  • Collaborate with UX, engineering, compliance, and go-to-market teams to deliver secure and scalable payment experiences.
  • Translate business and customer needs into product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Help ensure compliance with PCI DSS, NACHA, card network rules, and regional payment regulations.
  • Analyze payment performance data such as authorization rates, declines, settlement timing, chargebacks, and fees to identify improvements.
  • Support customer success, support, and GTM teams with training, documentation, and product enablement.
  • Track KPIs, report on product performance, and adjust the roadmap based on measurable impact.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in payments, fintech, financial services, or a closely related domain.
  • Working knowledge of online payments end-to-end, including card processing, ACH/bank transfers, gateways, processors, and settlement.
  • Familiarity with payments compliance and risk concepts such as PCI, fraud prevention, and chargebacks.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to use data to inform product decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate across time zones and regions.
  • Curious, organized, and self-directed, with motivation to grow into a full product management role with global scope.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Prior experience as an Associate Product Manager or Product Analyst on a payments or fintech product is a bonus.
  • Exposure to international or cross-border payments, multi-currency processing, or FX is preferred.
  • Experience with payment platforms such as Stripe, Adyen, Worldpay, Payroc, or similar is a plus.
  • Familiarity with regional payment methods such as BECS/Direct Debit, BACS/Faster Payments, or ACH is a plus.
  • Experience working in or with K–12 schools, higher education, or family-facing billing platforms is preferred.
  • Exposure to machine learning and/or automation is a bonus.
