Description

  • Serve as a senior technical authority for GSIs, translating Veeam capabilities into partner-deliverable architectures and services.
  • Lead advanced enablement for GSI architects and delivery teams, including workshops, architecture reviews, deep dives, and hands-on technical sessions.
  • Build repeatable partner assets such as reference architectures, implementation patterns, and “how we deliver” guidance.
  • Co-lead complex customer engagements with GSI teams through discovery, requirements mapping, target architecture definition, and design validation.
  • Support RFP/RFI responses and create solution narratives for regulated and large-enterprise accounts.
  • Design solutions spanning on-prem, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments, covering platform security, operational models, and recovery readiness.
  • Embed security best practices into designs (separation of duties, least privilege, immutability, hardened repositories, secure operational workflows, recovery assurance).
  • Partner with security stakeholders (CISO organizations, IR teams) to align resilience architecture with cyber recovery expectations and operating models.
  • Act as the technical bridge between GSI leadership, Veeam product teams, and regional sales/SE teams and provide structured feedback loops to improve product fit and partner readiness.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in enterprise infrastructure, cloud, data protection, disaster recovery, cyber resilience, or platform architecture.
  • Proven experience working inside a GSI or leading technical engagements with GSIs (pre-sales and delivery alignment).
  • Strong architecture skills across hybrid environments, including virtualization, storage, networking, identity, and cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and drive outcomes across large, matrixed partner organizations.
  • Executive-level communication skills, comfortable whiteboarding with architects and presenting to senior stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience designing and validating enterprise-scale solutions (not just slideware).
  • Experience engaging with major GSIs (examples: Accenture, Capgemini, TCS, Wipro, DXC, Atos, Kyndryl).
  • Ability to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally.
  • Nice to have: familiarity with DSPM concepts and data access governance, experience with security ecosystems (IAM/PAM, SIEM/SOAR, DLP, CNAPP/CSPM), automation/integration (REST APIs, PowerShell, IaC concepts), and Veeam certifications (VMCE/VMSP) or hyperscaler certifications.

  • Total target compensation (TTC/OTE) ranges by U.S. geographic zone: Zone 1 $252,500–$468,800; Zone 2 $231,500–$429,800; Zone 3 $210,400–$390,700; Zone 4 $183,000–$339,900.
