Description

  • Configure customer accounts, customize backup policies and storage, and lead onboarding activities for new customers.
  • Orient stakeholders to the platform, admin portals, and support channels.
  • Identify migration opportunities and run success planning and strategy sessions to align adoption with customer business outcomes.
  • Conduct assessments, build protection plans, and recommend software products and architectures across the Veeam Data Platform.
  • Run recovery simulations, apply the Data Resilience Maturity Model (DRMM), and deliver quarterly resilience reports.
  • Monitor customer signals to identify churn risk early and define mitigation plans with renewal partners.
  • Build business cases, define total cost of ownership, and present value propositions for expansion opportunities.
  • Engage CISO and CIO stakeholders with risk, status, and opportunity updates to support executive discussions.
  • Collaborate with marketing-informed campaigns and plays to drive adoption and expansion.
  • Own the technical success plan and adoption roadmap in partnership with Sales and CS leadership.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in customer-facing engineering roles focused on data backup and recovery, such as Technical Consulting, Pre-Sales SE, or Technical Account Manager.
  • Advanced level of English.
  • Hands-on experience with operating systems, virtualization, storage, scripting/automation, cloud platforms, and disaster recovery and resilience best practices.
  • Strong experience designing and executing protection plans, migrations, and recovery simulations.
  • VMCE certification required, with the option to complete it post-hire within an agreed timeframe.
  • Preferred certifications include AWS Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional) and Microsoft Azure Administrator or Solutions Architect Expert.
  • Ability to translate business outcomes into technical adoption roadmaps and measurable value.
  • Experience engaging executive stakeholders such as CISO and CIO and turning technical, business, and risk signals into recommendations.
  • Excellent communication, cross-functional collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with Veeam platform capabilities is a plus.
