Description

  • Own and evolve the Next.js and React frontend, including authenticated user flows and secure session handling.
  • Design and implement secure, scalable access patterns using OAuth2/OIDC and authorization boundaries.
  • Build and maintain FastAPI backend services for agent-driven workflows and data integrations.
  • Develop proof-of-concepts using emerging technologies and third-party integrations, then turn validated ideas into production applications.
  • Create tools and interfaces that help data scientists and business analysts work more independently.
  • Explore new ways to apply Gen AI and use vector and graph data stores effectively.
  • Work with data warehouses and databases to build data flows for fetching and aggregating data.
  • Contribute to infrastructure-as-code and AWS-based systems.
  • Document design decisions before implementation.
  • Collaborate with product, data, and engineering teams on data-aware application delivery.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience as a software engineer, preferably in backend or full-stack roles.
  • An undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a similar field.
  • Strong proficiency in Next.js and React for frontend development.
  • Solid backend development experience in Python, with FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
  • Experience working with data in some capacity, such as SQL databases, data processing, analytics, or data-driven applications.
  • Proven experience building secure, scalable web applications.
  • Experience with AWS services and the Docker ecosystem.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
  • Excellent spoken and written English at C1 level or higher.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and strong technical documentation ability.
  • Knowledge of OAuth2/OIDC flows, PKCE, and token/session handling is a plus.
  • Experience with agent frameworks such as OpenAI Agents, Agno, Strands, or MCP-style integrations is a plus.
  • Experience with observability tools such as OpenTelemetry or similar is a plus.
  • Experience with AWS ECS, VPCs, and secure networking patterns is a plus.
  • Experience integrating LLMs, including OpenAI or open-source models, is a plus.
  • Experience with Snowflake, vector databases, or graph databases such as Pinecone or Neo4j is a plus.
  • Understanding of LLM fine-tuning, embeddings, and vector semantic search is a plus.
  • Experience building ETL processes and data pipelines with tools like Airflow is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Python data libraries such as Pandas and NumPy is a plus.
  • Experience using repository managers such as JFrog Artifactory is a plus.
