Description

Lead project discovery activities including audits, benchmarking, and senior stakeholder interviews, and support user interviews with the research team.
Synthesize discovery findings into actionable insights and strategy direction for UX, design, and content strategy work.
Develop KPI frameworks, measurement plans, and optimization plans for client programs.
Create healthcare and hospital-centric personas, map customer journeys, identify pain points, and develop UX recommendations.
Partner with healthcare executive leaders and new business teams to shape responses for new business pursuits.
Support end-to-end solutions from strategy through information architecture, design, and content strategy.
Serve as a healthcare strategy partner for complex hospital systems and the relationships between patients, caregivers, clinicians, and healthcare brands.
Lead experience strategy for hospital and healthcare system digital transformation initiatives.
Work with teams to define high-level requirements and align experiences and programs with technology platform capabilities.
Manage and mentor junior strategists and sometimes UX designers, while helping estimate and scope client projects.

Requirements

10+ years of experience in healthcare-related work.
Authorized to work in the U.S.
Applicants must be based in Ontario or Québec; Québec-based candidates must be fluent in English.
Strong strategic thinking and the ability to lead with vision and inspiration.
Experience designing and facilitating experience workshops for senior-level clients.
Experience leading stakeholder interviews with senior-level clients.
Deep domain knowledge of the healthcare industry, including US healthcare.
Experience managing and mentoring junior strategists and, at times, UX designers.
Experience working on digital transformation projects for complex hospital systems.
Strong understanding of healthcare personalization strategies, HIPAA privacy considerations, and MDM/provider search tools such as Kyruus, Epic, and Doximity.
Comfort using AI tools to improve workflow and to support more efficient client workflows.
Preferred: familiarity with content strategy for patient information, service line marketing, and academic medicine research.
Preferred: familiarity with metadata taxonomy and its application to content automation and experience design.
Preferred: knowledge of academic medicine and research operations.
Experience with Agile methodologies and consulting is a plus.

Benefits

Full-time role based in Montreal or Toronto.
Annual salary range of $110,000 to $160,000, depending on experience and location.
