Description

  • Prototype high-fidelity concepts and functional flows, using code and AI where helpful to bridge vision and feasibility.
  • Build scalable design systems, reusable frameworks, and abstractions that keep the product coherent across teams and domains.
  • Use AI in practical ways to speed exploration, improve documentation, and reduce manual work.
  • Partner with executives and VPs on product direction, experimentation, and cross-functional alignment.
  • Influence company-wide initiatives and high-visibility special projects that push the product forward.
  • Mentor other designers at a mastery level and help raise the standard of design quality.
  • Shape design rituals, playbooks, and critique practices across the organization.
  • Turn vague goals into concrete, high-quality product direction with minimal hand-holding.
  • Own work as a senior individual contributor and contribute to strategic design leadership.

Requirements

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating excellent interaction design and visual design.
  • Experience working at senior staff or equivalent scope as an individual contributor.
  • Ability to prototype for real and build solutions with scale, performance, and detail in mind.
  • Fluency with AI-assisted design and prototyping.
  • Strong judgment across user centricity, craft, vision, communication, and leadership.
  • Ability to work effectively in ambiguity and convert vague goals into clear product direction.
  • Clear storytelling and communication skills that bring stakeholders along without unnecessary theatrics.
  • Experience influencing across executives, VPs, and cross-functional teams (preferred).
  • Ability to work asynchronously in a fully remote environment.
