Description

  • Create and execute polished visual design concepts that align with brand and client business needs across multiple platforms and viewports.
  • Craft and present high-fidelity design concepts and directions using references, sketches, storyboards, mood boards, and conceptual designs.
  • Maintain a high standard of design quality, presentation, process, and client collaboration.
  • Stay current on AI practices, design methodologies, trends, and techniques, and recommend new best practices.
  • Bring ideas to life through working prototypes and motion, including interaction motion and prototype creation in Figma or other AI tools.
  • Create design systems, style guides, brand guides, and related artifacts, and prepare assets for development.
  • Collaborate with UX designers, strategists, copywriters, creative directors, developers, and other visual designers.
  • Build and sustain effective working relationships internally and externally, especially within the design group.
  • Mentor junior designers and help strengthen the overall design culture.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven agency or studio experience designing digital experiences across a variety of industries.
  • Excellence in designing brand and/or systematic design experiences across multiple channels.
  • Fluency in English and the ability to verbally communicate and present to North American team members and clients.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain complex ideas clearly with little to no guidance.
  • Ability to think strategically and translate project ambition, UX input, and narrative into a compelling design solution.
  • Collaborative spirit and ability to take direction, contribute to group work, and guide junior designers on design principles and best practices.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure, work to tight deadlines, juggle multiple projects, and deliver for many stakeholders without sacrificing quality.
  • Strong ability to prioritize and maintain a solutions-based mindset.
  • Skilled in AI tools and current design practices, including Figma, Figma-related AI tools, and image generators.
