Description

  • Create and execute polished visual design concepts that align with the brand and client business needs across platforms and viewports.
  • Craft and present high-fidelity design concepts and directions through brainstorms, references, sketches, storyboards, mood boards, and conceptual designs.
  • Maintain a high standard of design quality, presentation, and process throughout client and team interactions.
  • Stay current on AI practices, design methodologies, trends, and techniques, and recommend new best practices.
  • Bring concepts to life through working prototypes and motion design, including prototypes in Figma and other AI tools.
  • Create design systems, style guides, brand guides, and other artifacts that define the intended user experience.
  • Prepare design assets for development.
  • Collaborate with UX designers, strategists, copywriters, creative directors, developers, and other visual designers.
  • Build and sustain effective internal and external working relationships, especially within the design group.
  • Mentor more junior designers and help build a dynamic design culture.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven agency or studio experience designing digital experiences across a variety of industries.
  • Experience designing brand and/or systematic design experiences across multiple channels.
  • Fluency in English and the ability to verbally communicate and present to North American team members and clients.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to clearly explain and defend design work.
  • Ability to think strategically and synthesize inputs from strategy, UX, and narrative into a compelling design solution.
  • Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with the ability to take direction and add value to group processes.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure, work under tight deadlines, and juggle multiple projects and stakeholders without sacrificing quality.
  • Strong prioritization skills and a solutions-based mindset.
  • Skill in AI tools and current design practices, including Figma, Figma-related AI tools, and image generators.
  • Experience mentoring junior designers is preferred.
