Description

  • Lead digital media planning across paid search, paid social, programmatic display, video, and emerging platforms.
  • Translate client business objectives into full-funnel, performance-driven media strategies.
  • Develop audience-led plans using insights, testing frameworks, and AI-supported planning or forecasting tools.
  • Present media plans, rationale, and performance insights to internal teams and clients.
  • Negotiate rates, added value, and media opportunities while maintaining vendor and platform relationships.
  • Oversee campaign activation, budget pacing, and optimization across platforms such as Google, Meta, Amazon, TikTok, DV360, and The Trade Desk.
  • Test new channels, partners, formats, betas, and AI-enabled capabilities where appropriate.
  • Own ongoing optimization, performance analysis, and insight development across channels.
  • Partner with analytics and data teams on tracking, reporting, attribution, and measurement.
  • Serve as a senior client-facing media point of contact and mentor junior planners and buyers.

Requirements

  • 6-8 years of experience in digital media planning and buying, ideally within an omni-channel agency environment.
  • Applicants must be based in Ontario or Québec.
  • Advanced conversational and presentation skills in English are required.
  • Strong hands-on expertise across paid digital channels, including paid social, display, programmatic, online video, and search.
  • Google Ads, SA360, DV360, and Merchant Center experience is required.
  • Proven experience managing and optimizing multi-channel budgets.
  • Working knowledge of tracking methodologies, measurement tools, and ad operations fundamentals.
  • Experience partnering with analytics and data teams on dashboards, reporting, and measurement.
  • Comfort using data to guide decisions, recommendations, and storytelling.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered marketing, analytics, or productivity tools is preferred.
  • Experience with traditional media channels is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a highly collaborative team culture.
