Description

  • Act as the Power BI subject matter expert and technical leader for enterprise analytics initiatives.
  • Architect, design, and implement enterprise-scale Power BI solutions aligned with governance and platform standards.
  • Lead the development of scalable dashboards and reporting solutions for large transactional datasets.
  • Design and maintain enterprise semantic models and reusable data layers.
  • Translate complex business requirements into intuitive, interactive Power BI dashboards.
  • Optimize report performance using advanced DAX, data modeling techniques, and query optimization strategies.
  • Establish Power BI governance, standards, and best practices across teams.
  • Partner with data engineering teams to align data pipelines with reporting requirements.
  • Bridge business and technical teams to support successful analytics adoption.
  • Drive modernization from legacy reporting to self-service analytics solutions.
  • Provide architectural guidance and mentorship to onshore and offshore analytics teams.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Data Visualization.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI in enterprise environments.
  • Strong expertise in Power BI Service and Power BI Desktop.
  • Experience with data modeling, including star schema and semantic models.
  • Advanced DAX development and optimization experience.
  • Experience with Power Query (M Language).
  • Experience in performance tuning and large dataset optimization.
  • Experience with enterprise-scale reporting and analytics platforms.
  • Strong experience gathering and translating business requirements.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience with Azure Data Platform, including Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, Data Factory, or Microsoft Fabric, preferred.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and analytics architecture, preferred.
  • Experience implementing BI governance frameworks and self-service analytics programs, preferred.
  • Consulting or enterprise delivery experience, preferred.
