Description

  • Design PCB layouts from concept through production using Altium Designer and Siemens PADS Professional.
  • Convert electrical schematics into manufacturable PCB layouts.
  • Design multilayer printed circuit boards with 2–12 layers.
  • Create and maintain PCB footprints, symbols, and component libraries.
  • Generate fabrication, assembly, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Perform DRC and ERC verification on PCB designs.
  • Apply IPC standards and DFM/DFA best practices to layouts.
  • Support Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and design updates.
  • Collaborate with PCB fabricators, contract manufacturers, and cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Participate in design reviews with electrical, firmware, software, FPGA, and mechanical engineers.

Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • 3–7 years of PCB layout experience.
  • Proficiency with Altium Designer.
  • Experience with Siemens PADS Professional.
  • Experience designing multilayer PCBs.
  • Ability to create PCB footprints and schematic symbols.
  • Knowledge of PCB fabrication and assembly processes.
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics.
  • Familiarity with IPC standards.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience with ARM Cortex-M hardware is preferred.
  • Experience with mixed-signal analog/digital designs is preferred.
  • Experience with interfaces and protocols such as USB, Ethernet, CAN, RS-485, SPI, I²C, UART, Bluetooth, Wi‑Fi, or cellular products is preferred.
  • Experience with switching power supplies is preferred.
  • Experience with controlled impedance routing and EMI/EMC mitigation techniques is preferred.
  • Experience with Altium 365 is preferred.
  • Experience with SolidWorks / STEP integration is preferred.
