Description

  • Lead due diligence workstreams, including functional diligence coordination, risk identification, and integration feasibility assessment.
  • Lead end-to-end post-merger integration for acquired businesses, including Day 1 readiness, functional workstream coordination, systems cutover, and synergy tracking.
  • Build and maintain the transaction playbook, including due diligence checklists, integration plans, and 100-day roadmaps.
  • Run strategic initiatives across the company, including ERP and quoting system improvements, service operations optimization, and cross-functional process work.
  • Partner with Finance on synergy modeling, tracking, and reporting to the executive team.
  • Coordinate with Corporate Development and outside advisors to ensure integration feasibility is incorporated into the deal thesis before close.
  • Manage competing priorities across multiple active workstreams while maintaining execution discipline.

Requirements

  • Multiple years of transaction experience covering both due diligence and post-deal integration.
  • Direct experience leading transactions as the primary project manager, not in a supporting role.
  • PMP certification.
  • 3 to 7 years of total experience.
  • Track record of running cross-functional initiatives with measurable P&L impact.
  • Experience in construction, security, fire, low-voltage, MEP, specialty contracting, or a similar B2B services environment (preferred).
  • Experience at a small consultancy where you owned client work directly rather than observing it (preferred).
  • Experience with M&A process management tools such as Midaxo (preferred).
  • Strong financial literacy and fluency with synergy tracking (preferred).
  • Willingness to travel to acquired sites and Unlimited Technology offices as needed (preferred).
