Description

  • Install and service access control and IP camera systems according to engineered drawings.
  • Program, terminate, and commission a range of access control products and platforms.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues affecting job productivity and system performance.
  • Perform maintenance on electronic devices, power supplies, and network components.
  • Communicate job progress and activity to the Project Manager or Field Supervisor in a timely manner.
  • Complete all required job tickets, paperwork, and post-install redlines.
  • Maintain a safe, clean working environment and company vehicle.
  • Assist Level I technicians as needed.
  • Attend required product and safety training.
  • Work independently while coordinating with subcontractors, customers, and internal teams.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of field installation experience in a security environment.
  • Mastery of install and service technician responsibilities.
  • Certifications in Lenel or Software House access control.
  • Certifications in American Dynamics, Genetec, or Exacq preferred.
  • Experience installing door hardware such as strikes and magnetic locks.
  • Experience in audio visual technology.
  • Experience troubleshooting network switches.
  • Experience reading and comprehending engineered drawings.
  • Proficiency with a computer, including MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
  • Strong work ethic, teamwork, and a self-starter mindset.

  • Pay range of $60,000 to $95,000 USD.
